It's great if you like just chicken in batter. They have a great sauce to dip them in but nothing really over the top for me.

If you ever find yourself in Baton Rouge, or have lived here for some time, Raisin' Cane's is a must. Despite it's small menu, Cane's has the best chicken fingers around. Sure, their Cane's sauce may just be your everyday condiments mixed together, but with their Texas toast and chicken, it's amazing. a great atmosphere in every store, your food is always fresh and hot and ready to enjoy. just don't leave it in the box for too long, or it will end up soggy and warm.

I think anytime I'm in Baton Rouge, one of my first stops is here at Raising Canes. It's no secret I am a fan of RC - a chicken tender in all of it's battered glory, fried to crispy perfection and complemented by a crunchy helping of Texas toast smothered in Canes sauce. Louisiana's greatest fast food fried chicken isn't Popeyes, it is and always will be Raising Canes. And while the chain is spreading like wildfire, I almost always swear the prices keep going up. People often put Raising Canes on the cheap eats pedestal, but at $8 for a three piece, some fries and toast, doesn't exactly feel like a deal in Baton Rouge. At this location they do it well. Fast and prompt, they've been the goto location for large batch orders whenever we have parties or family gatherings, executed perfectly almost every time. They tend to shower the bags full of canes sauce in little plastic cups, but I wish a bottle (or better yet, a JUG) of this magic sauce was available for the taking - it's the very potion of epicness that separates RCs from the rest of the competition. But though there is a part of me that would want them to remain in Baton Rouge, I am ready for the national domination of Raising Canes. If they can open a location in Boston, then surely they can bring this beloved Southern chain in my neck of the woods in NYC. And as always for Raising Canes newbies, always say the following: skip the slaw, extra toast. Then beg for more of the sauce (without having to pay 50 cents for it!).

My friend in this group text I'm in said this place is the top contender for her first meal today.

These are some darn good chicken fingers. The staff are super friendly, even to Yankees. Thankfully I do not have one these too close to home, otherwise I'd be in big trouble as a repeat customer. I love their tenders, honey mustard and fries. Texas toast puts them over the edge. Now cole slaw I can do without, and I do--they'll sub slaw for extra toast. This location's dining room pays homage to LSU Tigers, so that's cool.

Not going to lie, I stopped in at 2 Cane's locations on my trip, and this one was kind of terrible compared to my visit to the Zachary location. The fries and chicken were both overcooked which made me really sad. Service was kind of mediocre here as well. I like Canes, but I'll also throw in that their prices go up as their fingers get smaller....which is really sad. Maybe this was just an off day for this location, but I wasn't impressed.

As others have mentioned, it is hard to give five stars to a fast food joint, but they make a great chicken sandwich. Their sauce is really really good.

I've eaten Raising Canes for a very long time. I worked there 6 years and still to this day I love that chicken! Best chicken fingers around. Hot fresh every time I go. Sauce goes good on all the food so u must get more then one. Some advice. If u like spicy they have hot sauce and that mixed in with the sauce is delicious. If u like butter ask for your toast butter both sides. Super good for your taste not so much for your body. Eat me up peoples.

This one is in the running for my favorite Cane's location in Baton Rouge. I've yet to have a bad experience at this Cane's.

The chicken here is amazing - no doubt about it. However, the prices continue to go up and up and up and the size of the fingers keep going down. I just ate drive thru here and 3/4 chicken fingers were half the size of a typical canes finger I got a year or two ago.

Open late night for those hungry financially-limited college students! The staff is always friendly and the food is always hot and fresh

Oh how I miss me some Raising Cane's. Don't drive through Baton Rouge without finding you one. Order the Caniac Box and extra toast! You'll be so happy. You've never tasted chicken like this! They have franchised and now have 4 locations in Vegas. Almost worth the drive from LA over to Vegas just for some Raising Cane's!

It's just chicken fingers. Nothing else. It's just OK. If you LOVE chicken fingers then you'll LOVE this place. Basic fingers with crinkle fries, slaw, and Texas toast. Nothing to get excited about.

The menu mainly consists of fried chicken tenders along with fries, bread, and coleslaw. But despite this, everyone loves this place. All of the above are tasty, especially when combined with the Canes Sauce. Also, avoid the basic soft drinks and go for either the lemonade or the sweet tea. Canes makes fast food feel good.

The Box please, replace cole slaw with extra toast and an extra Cane's sauce. Drink? Sweet Luzianne Tea, please. My friends and I don't call this Co-Canes for nothing...they seriously must have some form of an addicting substance in that sauce to keep us coming back for more. The chicken fingers are clearly handed down from God himself - some sort of Prometheus revelation. The beauty of The Box is I usually don't finish it and one piece of bread is left in the Styrofoam container. The genius behind the bread is that it was strictly concocted as a instrument to sponge up the sauce. The reason I reached across State lines and reviewed the Baton Rouge branch is that Canes has to be tasted in Baton Rouge to really feel the connection and realize the perfection of Canes; sorry, Houston, but you just don't have it. I really wish it's amazingness would transfer to the Canes in Texas. The atmosphere is awesome for LSU fans as their booths have standard Tiger print and the walls are riddled with retro LSU pictures and a Tommy Cassanova poster. If Death Valley is where Tigers go to prey on the weak then Raisin' Canes is where they go to feed...especially with their hours of operation; perfect after a game. Canes isn't a fast food chain, it's a way of life. One love.

I was soooo happy when Cane's expanded to the Houston area! I missed the stuf flike crazy! A lot of Texans were like..."uhhh...that's it? all they have is chicken fingers?" Well dude, that's what they're good at and that's what they'll stick to!!!! I have always tried to concoct the dipping sauce at home but it never tastes the same. The whole operation at Cane's should be schooled to other chain restaurants. The food is always fresh and the employees are nice. The employees in Baton Rouge to New Orleans to Houston are all so friendly when you walk in. You really do feel welcomed when you walk in. So if it's good quality chicken tenders that you're craving, along with crinkle fried and buttery texas toast...do give Cane's a visit..it will be worth it!
